Eligibility Criteria For CHS Fellowships in Hellenic Studies

The eligibility criteria for the fellowship are as follows:

  • The applicant must hold a PhD degree in a relevant field, or have equivalent experience and scholarship.
  • The applicant must have a demonstrated record of excellence in research and scholarship in the area of classical Greek civilization.
  • The applicant must be fluent in English and have a working knowledge of modern Greek.
  • The applicant must be available to spend a minimum of three months in residence at the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, D.C. during the fellowship period.
