About This Scholarship

The Penn State Braddock Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by Penn State University for incoming students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and leadership potential.

The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, fees, room and board, and other educational expenses for up to four years of undergraduate study at Penn State University. In addition, scholarship recipients receive a stipend for books and other academic supplies.

Eligibility Criteria For Penn State Braddock Scholarship

The Braddock Scholarship at Penn State is a need-based award for undergraduate students enrolled at the Penn State University Park campus. To be eligible for the Braddock Scholarship, applicants must be incoming freshmen who have achieved a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 (unweighted), a minimum SAT score of 1350 (or ACT score of 30), and demonstrated leadership potential through participation in extracurricular activities, community service, or other leadership roles.

To be eligible, applicants must:

 

  • All the applicants must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at the Penn State University Park campus and they should have a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on file with Penn State’s Office of Student Aid to apply for this scholarship.
  • All the applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by Penn State’s Office of Student Aid and they should have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher to apply for this scholarship.
  • Additionally, preference is given to students who are residents of Pennsylvania. And they must check its official website before applying for updated information.
