Both current and former graduates of Lancaster County high schools are eligible for the Margaret and Max Pumphrey Scholarship. To be eligible for this award, you must intend to enrol in a recognised two- or four-year college or university in Nebraska. Candidates for this must be current graduating seniors or previous high school graduates from Lancaster County. It is suggested that applicants have plans to enrol in a Nebraskan two- or four-year accredited university or college. Before requesting money from the Lincoln Community Foundation, the applicant must show financial need and submit an application for student financial aid at the college they plan to attend. The award recipients may receive funds in succeeding years
