Sonlight, a Christian literature-based homeschool curriculum for preschool through high school students, funds the Sonlight College Scholarships for Homeschoolers. Each year, 13 college-bound, homeschooled high school seniors who have completed at least 5 Sonlight Curriculum programs are awarded $5,000 through this scholarship program. These funds should be used to pay for tuition, room and board, books, supplies, and other college expenses. Students must be United States citizens or legal permanent residents. Students who have never taken formal classes outside the home will also be considered. Students must have completed at least 5 Sonlight programs with grades equivalent to or greater than C on each transcript. Each student is eligible to receive only one scholarship per year.
