Eligibility Criteria For Advanced Energy’s STEM Diversity Scholarship

The Advanced Energy’s STEM Diversity Scholarship is designed to support students from underrepresented groups pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship program are as follows:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be a member of an underrepresented group, including but not limited to, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American/Alaskan Native, or Pacific Islander.
  • Be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university in the U.S. pursuing a degree in a STEM field and must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Submit an official transcript, a resume, a personal statement, and two letters of recommendation.

The Advanced Energy’s STEM Diversity Scholarship awards up to $5,000 per year to eligible students. Scholarship recipients are selected based on their academic achievements, financial need, leadership, community involvement, and commitment to their field of study.
