About This Scholarship

People of all sexual orientations and gender identities can join NMU ALLIES, an organisation at Northern Michigan University. Its goal is to give teachers, staff, and students a platform to publicly support a safe academic environment for those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or members of other sexual and gender minorities.
