About This Scholarship

Each year, the Richie’s Spirit Foundation gives three graduating high school seniors who exhibit character, initiative, and leadership in extracurricular activities and community affairs $5,000 in college scholarships. RSF has given more than $30,000 in college scholarships to qualified candidates since its founding. Each year, the programme receives more than 2,500 applicants. Richie Herskowitz passed away in October 2007 from complications connected to cystic fibrosis (CF). He was only a few months away from completing his senior year of high school.
