About This Scholarship

Students of the Year is a fundraising competition hosted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in various cities across the United States, including Los Angeles. The competition is designed to encourage high school students to fundraise for LLS, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers.

During the competition, teams of high school students compete to raise the most funds for LLS over a seven-week period. The team that raises the most money is named “Student(s) of the Year” and receives a scholarship and other prizes.

Students of the Year is open to high school students in Los Angeles and surrounding areas who are passionate about making a difference in the fight against blood cancers. The competition provides an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills, gain experience in fundraising and community service, and make a positive impact on the lives of patients and families affected by cancer.

If you are interested in participating in Students of the Year in Los Angeles or another city, you can visit the LLS website for more information and to register.
