About This Scholarship

The Josephine Clark Tutt Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. In memory of Mrs. Josephine Clark Tutt, the Lucy C. Laney High School graduating seniors are given financial assistance to continue their pursuit of a secondary education. The applicant must be a Richmond County resident who is a graduating senior at Lucy C. Laney High School. An applicant with a 3.0 GPA or higher who will graduate will receive priority consideration. A student who requires financial aid to continue their education in order to pursue their desired degree or career will receive special consideration. The candidate must have participated actively in religious, community, and/or extracurricular activities.
