The AANAPISI Scholarship supports Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) students pursuing higher education. The scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible students enrolled in degree programs at AANAPISI schools. To be eligible for the AANAPISI Scholarship, students must meet certain requirements, such as being a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, being enrolled in a degree program at an AANAPISI school, and having a minimum GPA of 2.75. Students must also demonstrate financial need. Are you an Asian American or Pacific Islander student from a low-income family or the first in your family to attend college? Also, are you currently enrolled full-time at a university that is a partner in the Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) program? In that case, consider applying for the AANAPISI scholarship!
- The scholarship grants up to $5,000 each year to deserving candidates who believe in the value of community service and can demonstrate how they represent the variety within the APIA community.
- APIA Scholars, which describes itself as “the nation’s foremost non-profit organization dedicated to the academic, personal, and professional achievement of Asian & Pacific Islander Americans,” provides the scholarship opportunity. We strongly encourage you to apply for the AANAPISI Scholarship if you are an Asian or Pacific Islander student currently enrolled at an AANAPISI partner institution and if you match the eligibility requirements.
The scholarship provides up to $5,000 per academic year to cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. The award amount may vary depending on the student’s financial need and the availability of funds.
