About This Scholarship

The Nebraska Chapter Charter Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) established the Lawrence “Larry” Frazier Memorial Scholarship in 1998.  Larry Frazier was well-liked and respected in Lincoln as well as throughout the country’s insurance sector.  Throughout his remarkable career and involvement in numerous community and industry organisations, he distinguished himself and the insurance sector.  With the help of this scholarship, Larry’s legacy as a superb businessperson and person will endure forever.

Eligibility Criteria For CPCU-Lawrence “Larry” Frazier Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility criteria for CPCU-Lawrence “Larry” Frazier Memorial Scholarship are as written below:

  • All the applicants For CPCU-Lawrence “Larry” Frazier Memorial Scholarship must be a current high school senior or a Nebraska high school alumnus.  
  • All the applicants for CPCU-Lawrence “Larry” Frazier Memorial Scholarship must have academic accomplishment in high school and the capacity to complete post-secondary work satisfactorily.   
  • Scholarships may consider any honors, awards, or recognition received for academic excellence, such as being a valedictorian or earning specific subject-related honors.
  • All the applicants for CPCU-Lawrence “Larry” Frazier Memorial Scholarship must be enrolled full-time in undergraduate studies at a Nebraska two- or four-year institution or university.   
  • it is desirable that All the applicants for CPCU-Lawrence “Larry” Frazier Memorial Scholarship plans to work in the legal, insurance, or aviation industries.  Additionally, it is preferable that the applicant have debate expertise and have involvement with Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts.
