About This Scholarship

Students in Michigan’s Newaygo County who are graduating from particular school districts are eligible for the Gerber Foundation Medallion Scholarship. Fremont, Grant, Hesperia, Newaygo, and White Cloud are among the school districts. GPA must be at least 3.71. Students in these districts who are homeschooled are eligible. The selection process takes into account a candidate’s overall academic performance, recommendations, leadership abilities, and participation in a variety of extracurricular and community activities.

Students wishing to enrol in a recognised US post-secondary programme leading to a bachelor, associate, or certificate, as well as a vocational or technical training programme, are eligible to apply for this award. Students who intend to enrol in a federal military academy or marine academy are ineligible. Students on exchange abroad are not eligible.
