About This Scholarship

The Jacksonville State University Foundation presents the Pell Scholarship each year to students who are the children or grandchildren of former JSU players who were coached by Mr. Charley Pell. The scholarship was established in Mr. Pell’s honour by his former players and friends. The JSU Foundation develops opportunities that will provide additional assistance to the students, programmes, services, and academic community of Jacksonville State University through collaborative relationships with people, businesses, foundations, and other organisations.

The Foundation will use image improvement, efficient asset management, business ventures, and development initiatives to fulfil its objective. The JSU Foundation’s main goal is to increase private gift support for Jacksonville State University while establishing a solid foundation for future fundraising success.
