About This Scholarship

Residents of Colorado who have shown a dedication to protecting our environment’s natural resources during their free time for personal, educational, and/or professional endeavours are eligible to apply for the Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado Grossman Scholarship. Students should ideally be able to demonstrate that they have worked as volunteers for outdoor stewardship/environment organisations like VOC or other stewardship organisations or land agencies in Colorado. The applicant must be enrolled in a degree programme with a focus on the environment, natural resources, climate, or outdoor industry at a 4-year college or university, a 2-year community college, or a certificate programme offered by a college or university accredited in the state of Colorado. The applicant must also submit two (2) professional letters of recommendation and a copy of their highest level of transcripts.
