The Livingston County Spartans annually award high school seniors who live in Livingston County a $1000 textbook scholarship. The money must be used on books, reading materials, course packets, pamphlets, or other reference materials that the student will need for their classes at Michigan State University. At the Club’s Freshmen Scholarship Picnic in August each year, scholarships are awarded.Candidates must be Livingston County high school seniors who have been admitted to MSU for the following academic year and who plan to register at MSU for at least 12 credits each semester in order to be considered. Financial need will be taken into account.
