About This Scholarship

5 Strong Full Tuition Scholarship Amount. This is to offer full-tuition scholarships and non-monetary support to student leaders; the 5 Strong Scholarship Foundation collaborates with historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Applicants must live in the Atlanta or Houston metropolitan areas to be eligible for scholarships.

In collaboration with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), 5 Strong offers full-tuition scholarships to deserving student leaders as well as ongoing mentoring and assistance from the time of enrollment until graduation. The necessary college-ready prep workshops held by 5 Strong every two months from February to June are mandatory for all grantees. Only the 5 HBCUs that Strong Houston collaborates with are eligible for any scholarships: Langston University, Texas Southern University, Lincoln University, Bennett College, Benedict College, and Fisk University.
