About This Scholarship

If you are a full-time postsecondary student majoring in engineering or a related field and have aspirations of pursuing a career in the heating, refrigerating, or air conditioning industries, you may want to consider applying for the ASHRAE Scholarships offered by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers. Every year, scholarships worth up to $10,000 are awarded to applicants who submit an essay, transcript, proof of enrollment, and three letters of recommendation. ASHRAE, a professional association dedicated to advancing the design and construction of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, provides scholarship funds. Each scholarship is available to students from a variety of postsecondary institutions. Each scholarship is awarded to students who are enrolled full-time at an accredited university, college, or trade school in the U.S.—regardless of major—and have a GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 and a record of leadership and achievement in activities such as research, conference presentations, design projects, and industrial experience.
