About This Scholarship

With money from the Gladys D. Goodson bequest, a scholarship in her honour was created in 2008. Gladys Goodson graduated from Fairbury High School in 1931 after being born in Thayer County, Nebraska, in 1912. She graduated as a Licenced Practical Nurse (LPN) and practised in Illinois nursing homes and hospitals until she retired. Gladys created this grant to aid Nebraskan students in obtaining nursing degrees.

Recipients of this award are eligible to reapply as long as they continue to achieve the requirements outlined above. The first page of your FAFSA report and any transcripts from high school or college (copies of transcripts are allowed) must be sent with your application.
