About This Scholarship

The International Council of Associations for Science Education (ICASE) does not offer a scholarship program called the “ICASE Presidential Scholarship”. However, they do offer a number of other scholarships and awards to support science education.One of the scholarships offered by ICASE is the ICASE Travel Scholarships for Early Career Science Teachers. This program provides financial support to early career science teachers who want to attend the ICASE World Conference on Science and Technology Education or other ICASE-related events. 

ICASE also offers awards for outstanding science educators, such as the ICASE Fellow Award and the ICASE Science Teacher Award. These awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to science education at the international level.

Eligibility Criteria For ICASE Presidential Scholarship

The ICASE Presidential Scholarship is a competitive scholarship offered by the International Council for the Advancement of Science Education (ICASE) to support outstanding science educators who are pursuing graduate studies in science education. The eligibility criteria for the ICASE Presidential Scholarship are as follows:

  • Academic Achievement: Applicants must have a strong academic record and meet the academic requirements for admission to the graduate program in science education at a recognized university.
  • Professional Experience: Applicants should have demonstrated excellence in science education and have at least three years of experience teaching or working in science education at the K-12 or undergraduate level.
  • Leadership: Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential and involvement in professional organizations and activities related to science education.
  • Citizenship and Residency: Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of a country that is a member of ICASE.
  • English Language Proficiency: As the scholarship is conducted in English, applicants should demonstrate proficiency in the English language through standardized tests such as TOEFL or IELTS.
  • Recommendation Letters: Applicants must submit at least two letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to their academic and professional achievements and potential.
