About This Scholarship

The Indiana Society for Health and Physical Educators (INShape) is a professional organisation for educators who work in public and private schools, colleges and universities, and community organisations throughout Indiana. Members include instructors, administrators, researchers, coaches, college students, and other professionals. INShape supports educators at all levels by offering leadership, professional development, resources, recognition, and advocacy.

Each year, INSHAPE gives up to six undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time in an Indiana college or university up to six $1,000 academic scholarships. Candidates must major in exercise science, dance, recreation, kinesiology, health, or physical education. The scholarship money will be used for books and tuition. Participation in collegiate activities, professional competencies, and financial need all factor into the scholarship grant.
