Ohio Township Association Scholarship

The Ohio Township Association (OTA) Scholarship is a program that provides financial assistance to Ohio residents who are interested in pursuing higher education. The scholarship is awarded by the Ohio Township Association.

To be eligible for the Ohio Township Association Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

• Be an Ohio resident.
• Be a high school senior or current college student who is pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited Ohio college or university.
• Be majoring in a field related to public service, such as public administration, political science, environmental studies, or other fields related to township government.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and must demonstrate financial need.
• Have a history of community involvement and volunteer service.
• Be sponsored by an Ohio Township Association member.

The scholarship award amount varies each year and can cover up to the full cost of tuition, fees, and books. Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and remain enrolled full-time in their undergraduate program. All the students must submit an application, transcripts, a personal statement, a resume, and two letters of recommendation.
