Prudential Emerging Visionaries is a program designed to support and recognize young people who are making a positive impact in their communities. The program is run by Prudential Financial, a financial services company. The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, a long-running programme that has recognised more than 150,000 young people over its 26-year existence, evolved into Emerging Visionaries. In addition to continuing a legacy of community service, Emerging Visionaries also pays new attention to societal and financial problems.
Each year, the Prudential Emerging Visionaries program selects a group of young people who have demonstrated leadership, creativity, and commitment to their communities. These young people are recognized for their achievements and provided with resources to help them continue making a positive impact in the world.
Applications are typically accepted in the fall, and the selected Emerging Visionaries are announced in the following spring. The program provides resources such as funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help the Emerging Visionaries continue to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
Winners were chosen based on four main criteria: their solution is creative, it will have an impact that goes beyond the student’s community, it reveals a thorough comprehension of the problem it addresses, and the student is passionate about bringing about change and motivating others to do the same. The Prudential Emerging Visionaries program is a great opportunity for young people who are committed to making a difference in the world to gain recognition and support for their efforts.
