About This Scholarship

Rotary Peace Fellowships are fully funded graduate-level fellowships offered by the Rotary Foundation. The fellowship program aims to support and train the next generation of leaders who are committed to promoting peace and resolving conflicts worldwide.The Rotary Peace Fellowship program mainly offers 2 types of fellowships:

Master’s Degree Fellowship: This fellowship supports a one or two-year master’s degree program in one of the Rotary Peace Centers located at seven leading universities around the world. The program offers a curriculum that combines academic study, field experience, and professional development opportunities in the areas of peace and conflict prevention and resolution.

Professional Development Certificate Fellowship: This fellowship supports a three-month professional development program in peace and conflict prevention and resolution at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. This program is designed for mid-career professionals who are already working in the field of peace and conflict resolution and want to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Eligibility Criteria For Rotary Peace Fellowships

To be eligible for the Rotary Peace Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • All the applicants must have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in peace and conflict prevention and resolution.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to peace and conflict prevention and resolution and they must be proficient in English.
  • All the participants must meet the specific eligibility requirements of the chosen program.

The Rotary Peace Fellowship is a very competitive program, and all the applicants are evaluated based on their academic and professional achievements, leadership potential, and commitment to promoting peace. The fellowship covers tuition and fees, room and board, transportation, and a monthly stipend for living expenses.

The application deadline for the Rotary Peace Fellowship is typically in late May or early June each year, and the program begins the following year in August or September.
