The Saint Louis University (SLU) National Merit Award is a scholarship program for incoming freshman students who have been named National Merit Finalists or National Hispanic Scholars. The scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and leadership potential, and who have the potential to make significant contributions to the SLU community.
The SLU National Merit Award provides full-tuition scholarships to National Merit Finalists and National Hispanic Scholars for up to four years of undergraduate study at SLU. The scholarship also includes a $3,000 annual stipend for educational expenses such as books, supplies, and room and board.
The application process for the SLU National Merit Award is automatic for students who have been named National Merit Finalists or National Hispanic Scholars and have designated SLU as their first-choice institution with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. However, students must still complete and submit the SLU admission application by the university’s priority deadline.
