About This Scholarship

For adults determined to change their lives via education, the 431 Exchange offers a priceless “hand-up.” Adults who are residents of Louisiana, have obtained a Louisiana high school diploma or GED, and are currently enrolled in Louisiana-based educational institutions are eligible to apply for the Scholarship Fund twice a year. The top-scoring men and women receive awards of $1,431 and the runners-up receive awards of $431, which will help them with some of their educational costs whether they are pursuing a programme at a college, university, vocational school, or trade school.

Every applicant for a scholarship must be enrolled in a college, university, vocational school, or trade school with a regular faculty, curriculum, and student body where its educational activities are carried out. The awarded scholarships must be used towards programme expenses, such as tuition, books, and supplies
