About This Scholarship

Are you, your parent, or your spouse a present or former union member (with ongoing participation for at least one year)? If so, how long was your membership in good standing? In addition, do you now attend a post-secondary institution or want to begin attending one shortly? It’s possible that the Union Plus Scholarships would be a good fit for you! This scholarship, offered by Union Plus, gives monetary awards ranging from $500 to $4,000 to several deserving students each year. To apply, you must submit an online application and two essays totaling 350 words each. The essays should discuss your family dynamic and your relationship to a union. If you meet these requirements and are interested in receiving financial assistance to pay for your education, we strongly encourage you to apply.
