About This Scholarship

The main goal of Vegetarian Resource Group is to inform people about vegetarianism and veganism. The top student will receive a scholarship worth $200, and the top two students will receive awards worth $100 each for their best vegetarian film. This is a scholarship program offered by The Vegetarian Resource Group, a non-profit organization that promotes vegetarianism. The scholarship is designed to encourage high school students in the United States to explore and promote the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle.

Here, high school seniors are required to create and submit a video that promotes the advantages of a vegetarian lifestyle. The video should be no longer than five minutes and should cover topics such as the environmental, health, and ethical reasons for choosing a vegetarian diet.

The scholarship award amount is $10,000, and it can be used towards tuition fees or other educational expenses at an accredited post-secondary institution. The scholarship is awarded based on the quality of the video submission, as judged by a panel of judges selected by The Vegetarian Resource Group.
