About This Scholarship

WIIT (Women in International Trade) offers scholarships to support women who are pursuing careers in international business, trade, or related fields. The scholarships are awarded annually to women who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to advancing the role of women in international trade.

WIIT offers two types of scholarships: the WIIT Charitable Trust Scholarship and the WIIT National Capital Area Chapter Scholarship. Both scholarships are open to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents who are enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in the United States.

The WIIT Charitable Trust Scholarship provides $1,500 to $2,500 to women who are pursuing a degree in international business, trade, law, or related fields. Applicants must submit an essay, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a resume as part of their application.

The WIIT National Capital Area Chapter Scholarship provides $1,500 to $2,500 to women who are pursuing a degree in international trade or a related field. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the field of international trade, as well as academic achievement and leadership potential. Applicants must also submit an essay, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a resume as part of their application.

Eligibility Criteria For WIIT Scholarships

The Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) Scholarship is a program that provides financial assistance to women pursuing careers in international trade. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a woman who is a U.S. citizen or legal resident
  • Be currently enrolled or accepted in an accredited academic institution pursuing a degree in international trade, international relations, international business, or a related field
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in international trade

In addition to meeting these eligibility criteria, applicants must also submit a complete application, including an essay, letters of recommendation, and transcripts or other academic records.
