Awarding $2,500 to multiple recipients, this scholarship provides financial assistance to those interested in careers in art, animation, programming and engineering. With the goal of increasing female representation within the gaming industry, AIAS encourages college women to apply for this competitive scholarship opportunity. Successful applicants will receive support and guidance from mentors throughout their career journey while obtaining valuable experience and knowledge needed for success in the gaming industry.
The scholarship’s mission is not only to support qualified applicants financially but also provide them with guidance from experienced mentors within AIAS. Applicants must demonstrate their commitment and passion for their chosen field as well as experience relevant work related activities such as internships or volunteering opportunities. Successful recipients may receive up to $5,000 towards tuition costs and will be connected with an experienced mentor throughout their studies.
