About This Scholarship

If you’re currently attending or planning to attend postsecondary education and have been diagnosed with an inflammatory disease such as ankylosing spondylitis (AS), Crohn’s disease (CD), hidradenitis suppurative (HS), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), psoriasis (Ps), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ulcerative colitis (UC), or uveitis (UV), you may be eligible to apply for the AbbVie Immunology Scholarship. This scholarship awards $5,000 to winners pursuing an Associate’s Degree and $15,000 to those pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate-level degree. Eligibility Criteria For AbbVie Immunology Scholarship

  • Postsecondary Education: To be eligible for the AbbVie Immunology Scholarship, you must be either an incoming or current postsecondary student. This means you must attend or plan to attend a college, university, or trade school.
  • Inflammatory Diseases: You must have been diagnosed with an inflammatory disease. Specifically, eligible diseases include ankylosing spondylitis (AS), Crohn’s disease (CD), hidradenitis suppurative (HS), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), psoriasis (Ps), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ulcerative colitis (UC), or uveitis (UV).
  • Scholarship Amount: The scholarship awards $5,000 to winning applicants pursuing an Associate’s Degree and $15,000 to those pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate-level degree. The scholarship can cover tuition, fees, books, and other education-related expenses.
