Eligibility Criteria For SHRM Academic Scholarships

  • Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in human resources or a related field.
  • GPA: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • SHRM membership: Applicants must be a SHRM member for at least one year before applying for the scholarship.
  • Essay: Applicants must submit an essay that describes their academic and career goals, their involvement in extracurricular activities and community service, and how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals.
