The Lyceum Scholars Program is an undergraduate program in philosophy and free-market principles offered by Clemson University’s College of Business. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of free markets, individual liberty, and limited government. Lyceum Scholars take a series of interdisciplinary courses that cover philosophy, economics, politics, and history. They also participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including seminars, guest lectures, and research projects, designed to enhance their understanding of free-market principles and prepare them for leadership roles in business, government, and civil society.
The program is open to incoming freshman students who demonstrate a strong academic record and a commitment to the principles of free-market economics and political philosophy. Lyceum Scholars receive a scholarship that covers tuition and fees for all four years of their undergraduate studies at Clemson University, as well as a variety of other benefits and opportunities.
