Every year, individuals enrolled in a New Jersey engineering programme that has been recognised by ABET and who aspire to become consulting engineers are awarded scholarships by the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ). The Coalition of American Structural Engineers Scholarship, the J.A. Watts, Inc. Diversity in Engineering Scholarship, and the Lee Rice LRE Water Scholarship are three specialty scholarships that the ACEC Research Institute will award under the direction of ACEC’s College of Fellows.
To be eligible for the general scholarships, students must be beginning their junior, senior, fifth, or master’s degree year in the fall. To be eligible, a student must also be a citizen of the United States and be enrolled in a recognised land-surveying programme or pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
