The David A. Eligibility Criteria For The David A. Hicks Scholarship for the Arts

Students who meet the eligibility requirements listed below are eligible for this scholarship:

  • Open to high school seniors in the Berrien County, Michigan area.
  • Must demonstrate excellence and artistic ability in visual arts, performing arts, or creative writing.
  • Must plan on attending a college or university within the United States as an undergraduate student for the fall 2022-2023 academic year.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with financial need who have been involved in extracurricular activities related to their art form and community involvement in either volunteer work or paid employment.
  • Award amounts vary each year but can range up to $1,000 per student recipient.
