About This Scholarship

High school athletes who have competed to the best of their abilities and exhibited perseverance and hard work are eligible for this award. This scholarship is based on academic performance in addition to athletic performance. To be considered, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and achieve good results on standardized tests such as the ACT or SAT. The award consists of two $1,000 checks in two separate checks. The first will be deposited into your high school bank account, and the second will be mailed directly to you after graduation. All students are eligible regardless of athletic ability.
