About This Scholarship

Academic recruitment scholarships are given to incoming first-year freshmen based on their admissions applications starting in the autumn. These scholarships are extremely competitive. Each year, these scholarships are subject to modification. Financial aid applications do not need to be submitted separately. By the Regular Decision deadline of January 2, students who want to be considered for First-Year Freshmen Scholarships must submit their Undergraduate Admissions application and all necessary documents. For domestic out-of-state students with outstanding high school grades, Clemson University offers the Out-of-State Tuition Scholarship. Each semester, up to $500 in named awards (usually sponsored by donors) will be given to recipients of the out-of-state tuition awards.
