  • Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
  • Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in an accredited institution of higher education in the United States.
  • Pell Grant: Applicants must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application or during the term of their study abroad program. Proof of Pell Grant eligibility is required.
  • Study Abroad Program: Applicants must be participating in a credit-bearing study abroad program that is at least 21 days in length in a single country.
  • Academic Plan: Applicants must be planning to earn academic credit for their study abroad program and the program must be approved by their home institution for credit transfer.
  • Academic Standing: Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
