Eligibility Criteria For Fontana Transport Inc. Scholars Program

The Fontana Transport Inc. Scholars Program is a scholarship program offered to high school seniors in California who are planning to pursue a degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field at an accredited college or university. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are:

  • The applicant must be a graduating high school senior who is a legal resident of California.
  • The applicant must plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States and pursue a degree in a STEM field.
  • The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • The applicant must have demonstrated leadership skills and community involvement.
  • The applicant must submit a completed application, including an essay on their educational and career goals, and how the scholarship will help them achieve those goals.
  • The applicant must provide two letters of recommendation from teachers or community leaders who can speak to their character, academic achievement, and potential for success in a STEM field.

It’s important to note that students who are children or dependents of Fontana Transport Inc. employees are not eligible for this scholarship program.
