Eligibility Criteria For José E. Serrano Educational Partnership Program with Minority Serving Institutions

  • Academic Requirements: Applicants must be currently enrolled as rising juniors at a Minority Serving Institution pursuing a degree in a STEM field.
  • Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
  • GPA: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from faculty members familiar with their academic abilities.
  • Essay: Applicants must submit an essay describing their career goals and how the program will assist them in achieving them.
