StudentCam is a National Level Scholarship Competition for filmmakers, photographers, and digital storytellers. If you want to become a filmmaker, consider applying for the StudentCam scholarship. This scholarship is available to students in grades 6-12 who produce a short 5-6 minute video documentary related to the competition theme for that year. The scholarship is provided by C-SPAN, a non-profit organization that broadcasts many United States federal government proceedings and other public affairs programming without commentary or analysis. The scholarship awards $100,000 in cash prizes to the top 150 student documentaries annually. StudentCam scholarship can help students pursue their filmmaking and photography dreams, and it also helps them to learn about the important issues of our time. How do you apply?
