About This Scholarship

Students in the top 26 counties in the Texas Panhandle who are graduating high school seniors or who are enrolled in college may apply for the Alvin A. and Hattie Mae Bush Accounting Scholarship. The applicant must attend Amarillo College, Texas Tech University, or West Texas A&M University and either be planning to major in accounting or already be majoring in it. Applications must be accompanied by documentation proving U.S. citizenship or authorised permanent residency. Transcripts from high school, dual enrollment, and/or college, as well as ACT or SAT scores, are also necessary. There is no need to submit the test results separately if they are listed on the transcripts’ back.
